I am a qualified Chartered Architect with keen interest in the benefits of using art and craft to engage, motivate and inspire the elderly, in particular people with Dementia.
The classes are very enjoyable and this participation in arts offers an opportunity for self-expression and provides a rewarding creative activity experience. People with different abilities get together and enjoy the whole process of playing with colour, shapes, and textures. It makes a difference to their day, and they can see the end result.
