Emma Lunt

Hi, I’m Emma,
I have been a teacher for almost 20 years, predominately in primary and early years education, but also of teenagers and adults. As a teacher I have a deep understanding of how to facilitate peoples’ learning and have developed the patience and flexibility to support others achieve. I have always been creative, enjoying painting and drawing, and completing courses in printing, and ceramics.
The process of being creative both in groups and individually has many benefits, from the physical aspects of mark making to the joy of seeing a final creation, developing confidence, and feeling pride in an accomplishment.
Working collaboratively promotes communication and sharing ideas, as well as being an opportunity to encourage each other and just chat in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere. Working individually with someone is equally satisfying, supporting them physically or to guide and reveal new skills and techniques that will allow them to express their ideas in different ways.
