Hi, I’m Shelley,
I was lucky to grow up in a creative family where we scribbled, drew, crafted and painted from an early age. And although I studied law and international relations, I always regretted not going to art school, and so gravitated towards the design industry – partnering with talented art directors in a 25 year career as a Creative Strategist in various advertising agencies.
I worked on many different brands but my first (and still most important) client was Age Concern – beginning a lifelong love of volunteering with care homes and seniors with dementia, in both the UK and USA. After 14 years working in London, then 12 in Chicago, I moved back home just before the Covid outbreak that changed my outlook on corporate life – as it did for many people.
So the opportunity to set up a Creative Mojo business was perfect timing. It blends the most rewarding elements of creativity and care for those who most deserve it, and I feel so lucky to be creating artwork and inspiring moments with residents and care homes in S. Oxon and the Thames Valley.
