Lucy Cook

Hi I’m Lucy,

I truly believe that everyone can be creative and that actively engaging in visual arts and crafts is hugely beneficial to the well being of the elderly and vulnerable people that Creative Mojo connects with.

I had wanted to ‘do art’ full time for a number of years(I’m a trained chef)and Creative Mojo has opened that opportunity.
I have experience in delivering community classes with mental health clients and qualifications in Further and Adult Education, safeguarding, bereavement counselling and health and safety.I work one day a week in a social enterprise cafe that supports people with autism, learning disabilities and former addicts giving them valuable work experience.

Creative acts feed our souls and inspire others and it is thrilling  to see the surprise and pleasure when you show the clients their finished project.

“Yes! You created that. Yes you can”.
