VERWOOD RESIDENTS CREATE STUNNING IMAGES IN REMEMBRANCE

Creative residents at Verwood House used their artistic skills to pay their respects to those in the armed forces who have served defending our freedoms.

Remembrance pays respects also to those in our emergency services who have worked to protect people throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

The incredible Verwood House images will be displayed in the reception area of the Verwood care home to mark Remembrance Sunday on November 13.

Verwood House’s Wellbeing and Lifestyle Coach Emilia Turner it was a privilege to make the artwork tributes.

She said members of the craft club took the lead but that everyone had remarked on the impact the work had.

She said: “We all want to pay our respects to those who have served, for the acts of heroism. It is the sacrifice of those who serve that make it possible for us to live in peace.

“These artworks are a small way of us paying our respects.”
