Some lovely things that our clients and residents had to say about our services

Very good activities, all the residents in our home love the activity. This gives them an opportunity to explore their creative sides.

"I was visiting my mother at Earlsferry Nursing Home when Creative Mojo were enabling residents to make their own Christmas cards. I was very impressed with their patience, kindness and good humour, and at the obvious benefits their activities had for the residents. On a previous occasion, I arrived just as they were leaving and my mother was still buzzing from the art activity. Everyone was thrilled with the results!"

"Creative Mojo are simply FAB. Both Louisa and Graham take time with our Residents, not hurrying them so that they can get the best out of the session. Lovely results and a huge thank you. See you in '19."

We had a private session with Creative Mojo Clacton-on-Sea for my two SEN children (Our Son is 5 and has Autism Spectrum Disorder and Sensory Processing Disorder and our daughter is 2 1/2 and has Cerebral Palsy and shows traits of Sensory Processing Disorder). They also had a neurotypical friend (who is also 5 years old) joining in for the session. We find painting and craft activities difficult to do due to our children's needs and it is hard to enjoy the activity with them as our focus is always on trying to keep them safe and limit mess created through their sensory seeking behaviours. Helen was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. She set up all the materials and tidied them all away - once she'd finished, my house looked just like it did before she visited. The children mainly made a 'mess' with the paints and materials as they explored all the different media, but Helen was able to translate what they did and use it to make some beautiful pictures that we're all proud of I even got to do some painting and for the first time I can remember, managed to enjoy a craft activities with my children. Thank you Helen, for such a wonderful experience. Thinking this could be a great idea for entertainment at a birthday party... We'll be in touch again soon!

Great fun arts and crafts session with Helen making Winter Bouquets. The residents throughly enjoyed it. Helen spent time with each resident encouraging them with their painting designs. The finished bouquets look fab and are proudly displayed on the wall. Helen prepared and tidied away the area. It was good to see the feedback for each of the residents too. Thank you Helen, and looking forward to the valentines themed crafts soon.

Creative Mojo Derby is run by Amanda, a fantastically fabulous, creative lady who will make every session the best it can be with amazing results. This kind of activity needs to be rolled out Nationwide - like Creative Mojo are doing - to enhance the activities & stimulation of Care Home residents. Having seen both parents struggle through dementia I can't recommend this highly enough & wish it had been available to them. Do Try It Out!

I recommend this due to the joy it brings to our residents at Harleston House. The residents enjoy their time with creating something that they could not visualize themselves. The delivery of each session is relaxed, friendly and enjoyable.

All of us have fun every time we do the creative arts. It gives our residents a purpose and they can't wait for the following week to do it all again. Our residents live with dementia and everyone even residents that are reserved always joins in and this activity brings their creative side out and they socialise more with fellow residents and Sarah. Sarah is wonderful and treats everyone differently and with respect she is very caring and allows the residents to do their work in a pace they are comfortable with. She supports everyone involved.
