During this session magic moment team started by sharing stories about her father and step father. Another carer then followed as well as the residents. We all felt proud of our fathers or father figures in our lives. While we coloured and did our cards we were made known of the different things our fathers liked or disliked. We may not be born on the same decade but everyone of us cherished all the memories of our fathers and our childhood. At the end of the session we not only made father days card we also honoured and celebrated our fathers. The session made some of us emotional as well.

This was a hard decision to make between Marjorie Liddle (who sadly we lost last week) and George Galloway. Both Marjorie and George enjoyed many of the ‘Creative Mojo’ art boxes and thoroughly deserve the recognition for ‘Most Motivated Resident’. No matter the theme weather it be a summer BBQ, Heroes and Heroines, or Easter bunnies. Both George and Marjorie worked their hardest to make the most beautiful piece they could. Always with a smile on their face and a true sense of pride. I’m proud to of created some amazing ‘Creative Mojo’ pieces with these two residents. They truly left their mark on the paper, and my heart. Beautiful people on the inside and the outside, let alone what they could create with some paint, cardboard and PVA glue. Well done for your Magical efforts!
